Bryce Canyon Images

photo 005484_585_586_587_588_HDR.jpg O f all the canyons I have visited in the Southwest, I think Bryce is the most picturesque. The Navajo Loop Trail is an easy trail to the canyon bottom and is punctuated by ramrod straight fir trees towering above the trail. The unusual rock formations called hoodoos provide colorful and fascinating shapes to the canyon and the orange and yellow rock formations contrast with the deep blue sky. On my latest visit to the canyon I was able, for the first time, to capture the deep range of tones using High Dynamic Range digital photography. What a rewarding experience!
